The Koehler Center provides teaching and learning support to the TCU community though a variety of events that are open to the TCU community.

These events include workshops and training opportunities led by Koehler Center staff, orientations for faculty who are new to TCU, and special events with invited guest speakers.

Such events are intended to promote evidence-based teaching principles and practices, as well as the thoughtful and intentional use of educational technology.

New to TCU Faculty Orientation

New to TCU Faculty Orientation welcomes new full-time and adjunct faculty to the TCU community of scholars. During orientation, faculty learn about the services and resources related to their careers as TCU teacher-scholars. Faculty will become familiar with the TCU student population, as well as TCU’s culture and community. This event will focus on immediately applicable advice about succeeding as TCU faculty member.
