Biography:
Alex Fitzgerald is the Learning Technologist in the Koehler Center for Instruction, Innovation, and Engagement. His responsibilities include frontline support for TCU Online and providing one-on-one consultations to Faculty and Staff with respect to LMS best practices and LMS troubleshooting. Additionally, he collaborates with the Learning Technology Manager to administer the LMS and to research new features and integrations for TCU Online.
Before coming to TCU in 2023, Alex was an instructor for more than a decade in Des Moines, IA. During this time, he led programs ranging in size from 50 to more than 300 students and led efforts in DEI, Data Analysis and Online Learning. While pursuing his Master’s degree, Alex conducted research on the in-school perceptions of relationships between ELL and Non-ELL students with respect to each other and the school authority structure.
