Faculty must complete the eFaculty 2.0 workshops and receive e-certification before their online courses go live.
Workshop Requirements:
- New Faculty: Complete all five workshops
- Faculty with Hybrid Certification: Complete Workshop #2: Student Engagement at TCU
- Faculty without Hybrid Certification: Complete all five workshops
- Faculty eFaculty Certified prior to Fall 2022: Exempt, but encouraged to attend Workshop #2 for federal regulation updates

Required for faculty with Hybrid Certification seeking eFaculty 2.0 Certification.

After submitting your request, allow 1 business day for processing. Once enrolled, you’ll receive a confirmation email and can access the course by logging into TCU Online.
Go to My Courses, tab over to the eFaculty 2.0 section, and select your course.
Complete the Module 4 Survey at the end of each workshop to receive your badge via TCU email.
To view earned badges, log into TCU Online and check the Awards Showcase.
The Koehler Center offers five self-paced, 45-minute eFaculty 2.0 workshops to support high-quality online teaching at TCU. These workshops are part of our in-house quality assurance and are required for faculty preparing to teach online courses.
