TCU’s digital fabrication laboratory—The Fab Lab—is a space designed to inspire creativity. Located on the first floor of the Mary Couts Burnett Library, the Fab Lab offers a variety of services and equipment to TCU students, staff, and faculty. Equipment available in the Fab Lab includes multiple 3D printers, a high definition 3D scanner, a large scale plotter, and a laser cutter/engraver.
This workshop will provide a brief overview of the lab. Participants will then have an opportunity to explore the equipment. Fab Lab staff will be available to discuss ideas for how the equipment might be utilized for course materials or classroom assignments, as well as answer any questions you may have.
