Digital Learning Designer
David Andrews is a Digital Learning Designer in the Koehler Center for Instruction, Innovation, and Engagement. David began his career at TCU in July of 2020. His responsibilities include providing the TCU community with engaging interactive educational media assets for digital delivery. David coordinates media/video/audio with faculty to design, develop and teach media-rich, highly interactive courses that provide a student-centered and authentic learning experiences. He also supports faculty through workshops and training to continually improve quality learning through TCU Online.
As an experienced and enthusiastic professional with more than 15 years of classroom experience, David has developed synchronous and asynchronous teaching materials, facilitated secondary and adult education programs, and served as Visual Arts Coordinator for Austin Independent School Districts’ Teacher in Preparation Program. He previously worked as a Learning and Documentation Specialist for the Department of Educational Technology in Fort Worth Independent School District.
David received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and Master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. He earned his certification for eLearning and Instructional Design from Oregon State University.
