Curby AlexanderTCU is committed to becoming the Academy of Tomorrow. Such an endeavor requires students to master time-tested habits of mind and thinking skills, but it also requires openness to new possibilities created by innovation. In order to address the challenges of a learning environment where potentially every student brings a digital device, instructors must reimagine their teaching strategies in order to leverage the possibilities of digital learning in a face-to-face environment. The purpose of this conversation is to provide instructors with a practical and attainable framework for facilitating active learning with technology. This framework consists of syncing the learners, reducing friction, aggragating responses, deploying resources, creating workspace, and showcasing work. This conversation will include authentic examples and hands-on demonstrations.
