In this workshop, we will discuss time management both in and out of the classroom. Instructors with large teaching loads regularly face issues of classroom management: designing numerous assignments, managing large enrollments, and keeping up with stacks of exams and essays that need grading. What are strategies we can adopt to make us more efficient in managing a heavy work load while still maintaining our high standards of instruction in the classroom? Based on 12 years of experience at TCU, I will offer some strategies I have developed over the years. I also hope to facilitate a conversation in which participants can share and exchange their various strategies and ideas with others, as well as come up with new ones.
