Koehler Center OutcomesIn this TCU Online workshop, faculty and instructional staff will learn how to use the TCU Online Learning Object Repository (LOR). The LOR is a centralized content repository that can be used by faculty and staff to organize learning resources and to streamline shared departmental items. Courses can be updated more easily by pulling documents, media, and other materials from one central source. Departments can use the LOR for centralized storage of departmental information such as syllabi, rubrics, test banks, and course learning goals.

At the end of this workshop, you will know how to do the following:

  • Create resources that can be shared and reused across an organization
  • Use dynamic linking to connect to learning objects to manage and update current versions of course content
  • Configure advanced admin features to allow granular control over how materials can be used
  • Utilize search methods including keywords, ratings, comments, and more
  • Set up advanced metadata management to allow resources to be classified differently
