A well-designed syllabus is key to a successful course. A complete and engaging syllabus acts as not only a contract with students but also a roadmap for what students should know, value, and be able to do by the end of the semester. In this session, we’ll review sample syllabi and discuss elements of course design and well-crafted grading, attendance, technology, and participation policies. The workshop culminates in a revision of a current syllabus and a one-on-one consultation with a Koehler Center faculty developer.
