Preparing to Teach Online is an instructor-led online course that prepares faculty to create and teach fully online courses that follow SACS Best Practices, State Authorization guidelines, and the TCU Distance Learning Policy. During this course, you will learn strategies for designing successful online courses, building engaging and accessible content, assessing learners and providing effective feedback, and maintaining an effective instructional presence. You will develop your own online course in TCU Online (TCU’s learning management system) and author an online syllabus for your potential future course. Completing this workshop fulfills one of TCU’s requirements to become eFaculty certified to teach fully online.

You will receive a certificate when the course requirements are completed.
