Outcomes 1.1, 1.2, 2.1In this workshop, teachers of WEM classes will explore how well-designed writing assignments can facilitate learning of course objectives, improve student writing, and engage students in disciplinary thinking. We’ll also identify cost-effective strategies for supporting students’ writing that can be implemented both inside and outside class. Please bring a writing assignment that you’d like to share and/or revise along with the syllabus from the relevant course.
