This workshop will address the principle motivators derived from Gamification as it applies to a higher education face-to-face setting. We will discuss various player types you can expect to see in your students and how their specific motivations can be used in the creation of course activities and assignments to promote engagement. Participants will walk away with strategies that can be applied to activities and assignments that will encourage student participation and buy-in.
